Why I started Wailytics

I've spent over a decade working in Data and BI, and I kept seeing the same thing: the technology worked, the data was there, and the projects still didn't land. The thing that got built wasn't the thing the business needed. Nobody asked the right questions up front. The handover was "here's a login, good luck."

Wailytics exists to do it properly. One partner who stays across the whole arc, strategy, build, handover. Someone who can sit with your team, talk through the problem in plain English, and turn it into something that actually gets used.

What I believe about data work

Most businesses don't need a cloud data platform. They need to know which three numbers matter most. They don't need a machine learning model. They need reporting that doesn't take four days to assemble. The best data work is boring in the best way - it quietly disappears into the routine of your business and the team stops noticing it because it just works.

I also believe the best data work is human. It starts with conversations, not requirements documents. It improves when you sit with the people who'll use it. And it endures when you train people to own it, rather than making them dependent on a consultant who walks away when the retainer ends.
